Mother's Day Brunch

I am so excited to share with y'all today a project I have been working hard away on! If you know me, you know how important my Mom is to me. She's my very best friend, and is a huge source of inspiration for both my personal and business life. She's the ultimate hostess and is always serving others. When it came time to plan and photograph my inspiration for a Mother's Day Brunch tablescape, I knew I absolutely had to include her.

Make sure to scroll to the bottom to find out about our Mother's Day promotion!

Without further adieu, I'd love for you to scroll through my Mother's Day Brunch tablescape! I hope these photos serve as inspiration for you to host your very own Mother's Day Brunch and honor the special women in your life!

Our brunch was located at Wingate Plantation, a beautiful outdoor venue about 15 minutes outside of downtown Charleston on Johns Island. The property is overflowing with enormous live oak trees draped in Spanish moss. It's the epitome of Southern beauty, and I was so excited to host our brunch here.

My mom is such a happy light in my life, so I wanted to incorporate fun, bright colors to celebrate her lively personality! I love how the bright pinks and oranges turned out.

Mother's Day Brunch
Knowing that the color palette of my Mother's Day Brunch would be bright, I wanted to start with a blank canvas. I used an older Kate Spade tablecloth that is a simple white on white printed bow pattern. For the place setting, I used a simple gold rim charger to start (mine are from Pier One), this melamine plate from Target Opalhouse collection as a dinner plate, and these poppy plates as a salad plate. Gold flatware, antique gold rim glasses & pink water glasses (a great Home Goods find!) served as accents. Our monogrammed linen dinner napkins finished off the look!

Pineapple brass candlesticks
I put fresh hydrangeas in these pink "candleholders" from Target, tulips in an older Pottery Barn vase (but I love this newer style here!) and my favorite striped candles in our brass pineapple taper candlesticks (on sale here!)

My mom and I loved our Camilyn Beth dresses. I wore the Anya Dress in Tangerine (I've never met a bow I didn't like!) while my mom donned the Wilma Dress in Peach. Jackson Morgan Southern Cream in Whipped Orange served as the perfect adult beverage (it seriously tastes like a grown-up creamsicle!), while the Raspberry Mint flavor of Cannonborough Beverage Co was the perfect non-alcoholic refresher!

Mother's Day table
No brunch would be complete without Callie's Hot Little Biscuits. Callie's is my all-time favorite place to take my visitors in Charleston, and what Southern brunch would be complete without buttermilk biscuits? If you are located in Charleston or Atlanta, pop in to their locations to pick some up for your next brunch. But if not, you can order them online here! My favorite flavor is the Cheese & Chive, but the cinnamon are also amazing for a sweet treat.
